Now that the Storm is Over...Posted in: Fire Marshal, 2/12/2010 3:00 PM The Middletown Township Office of the Fire Marshal is asking residents for their assistance. • Please check on elderly neighbors, those with chronic health issues and those still without power. Should you or someone you encounter require assistance, please call 215-547-5227 and ask for Jim McGuire, Emergency Management Coordinator. • If there is a fire hydrant on or near your property, please clear the snow to provide ready access to the hydrant. This will allow immediate access to the hydrant in case of a fire emergency. • As the snow begins to melt, please make sure storm water inlets near your property are kept clear of snow and other debris. Keeping the inlets open will help prevent flooding and icing conditions on the street and surrounding properties.
