Important Weather Advisory from PECO

Here is some important information received from PECO regarding the current weather conditions:

We are expecting strong winds with gusts of more than 55 mph to move through our region today, potentially damaging electric equipment and causing power outages.

We are continuing to monitor this storm and have activated our emergency response organization. We are beginning to see scattered outages and expect to see more as the winds pick up this afternoon.

We have a full contingent of crews and contractors ready to respond to any problems that may result from this storm. Safety is our number one priority. We want to remind customers to always assume that downed electric lines and damaged equipment are energized - and they should stay away.

Customers experiencing any problems with their electric service, or to report downed wires or damaged equipment, should contact PECO immediately at 1-800-841-4141.

We work hard to safely restore our customers as quickly as possible. We thank you for your support to help us communicate with our customers and your constituents.
